We have many areas that you can serve in. Please choose your top two areas.
Team Descriptions:Pre-Event Shopping
This team will do the remaining shopping for gifts that are still needed
Friday Set-Up TeamThis team will prepare everything that is needed for the event the night before the event on December 12th at Dardenne Elementary School from 5pm until 9pm.
Saturday Community Flow Team
The team manages the event flow throughout the building, parking lot, security, Community entrance, and exit, checking in volunteers and shoppers.
Saturday Check- In Team
This taem will check In families that are signed up to shop, assist check in for any children in childcare, registration list, hand off to Greeting/Hospitality Team
Saturday Hospitality Team
The team will be responsible for procuring donations of food. The team will deliver food and drinks to volunteers as we host our shoppers during the event.
Saturday Childcare Team
This team provides care and activities for children while families are shopping, crafts, snacks, drinks, check in and check out children via matching family tags, clean up area when finished, clean up areas when done
Saturday Shopping/Staging Team
This team will pickup family from Hospitality area, Walk with families as they shop in the gym (3 gifts per child), stay with them until gifts are wrapped, assist with holding gifts, assist with location of toy and ages, hand off to Toy Loaders, repeat process with another family, when not shopping - maintain toy tables from overflow/volunteer room - down the hall from check in, first room on right, clean up area when done.
Saturday Cashier Team
This team checks out families, collect payments, $2 per gift, clean up area when done
Saturday Gift Wrap Team
The team will be responsible for setting up & staffing gift-wrap areas in the building. This team wraps all gifts and has the community
members fill out gift tags to place on gifts.
Saturday Toy Loading Team
Help load toys in black bags, escort families to side door to go get vehicle, walk and load toys to vehicles, clean up area when done
Saturday Tear Down Team
This team will tear Down rooms at the school, load any leftover toys and supplies to take back to OCC in the Auditorium Lobby side rooms
